AMAZING WILDLIFE

Picture
Amazing Wildlife is an educational podcast program produced in a documentary style featuring music, sound effects and narration.

Each episode features 3 segments highlighting different animal facts about the many unique and incredible species found in the world around us. Through our educational presentations and by encouraging local zoo and aquarium visitation, we hope to promote the value of ongoing research, education and conservation programs to preserve the world’s animal population.

Our mission is to inspire a greater awareness of global wildlife species and the importance of animals in the world’s ecosystems.

Amazing Wildlife is an independently produced program and is not affiliated with any specific zoological facility or organization.

Each episode's audio scripts, notes and zoo links as well as links to the many popular podcast players are available at the shows website.

The stars of the show are the many amazing animals we feature but the show is hosted by Chris Ponds. Chris has many years of experience in radio production and currently works in the entertainment industry doing audio/video production, along with his wife Rachael and daughter Breah - they are the originators and creators of Amazing Wildlife. They regularly attend local zoos and aquariums and often plan family trips specifically to visit facilities around the country. Rachael is involved with show concepts, formatting and quality control. She assists with show promotion and she is also featured in many in-show announcements and messages. The lead researcher is Breah - she gathers and collects the information for each program from various accredited zoological facilities and organizations and creates the scripts for each segment. Breah volunteers at her local zoo and also creates artwork for the show.

The Amazing Wildlife podcast was created as a supplement and natural extension to her artwork website:
https://artbybreah.com/ featuring wildlife art and animal facts in a variety of styles and mediums.
